Next Ventures is looking for a German and English speaking IT system Administrator for Windows. Please only apply if you speak fluent German and English
Job description:
“Must have” skills ....
PC installation & support (desktops, laptops, thin-clients, printer, blackberry) and administration
Upgrade and patch windows PC versions (XP, win7,…) and all software on PCs
Support users with on going office activity, install, configure, customize & support windows software like office suite, outlook/exchange mail, VPN, antivirus, antispam…..etc
Support the LAN, VOIP and telephonie services (fix & mobile)
Assist Remote users (when they travel) if they have connectivity issues
Troubleshooting & incident ticketing
Monitor systems & verify completion of daily backups and rerun if failed
“Nice to have” skills.....
-it system administration tasks in a Windows environment (Servers), that means manage Active Directory, Permissions & definitions of users, GPOs, printer management
- manage version 2008 R2 & win2003 at server level
- manage an Exchange environment
- (optional knowledge about Citrix Xen APP environments)
- familiar with “office suite” software package installation, customizing
- backup/restore activities
- performance monitoring
Additional Language: …spanish would be a great advantage as well
