Network Design Engineer (CCIE) - Frankfurt
Bluefish Communications, a leading IT & Professional Services Consultancy and Outsourcing organisation, are engaged with a leading global infrastructure equipment vendor to deliver professional consultancy services into their Service Provider clients across the globe.
As part of this relationship, Bluefish are in the market for a highly experienced Network Design Engineer/Technical Consultant to work with these Service Provider clients and assist with the design of MPLS networks across Germany.
Key experience required for the consultant will include:-
L2/L3 VPN experience within MPLS Core into large-scale service provider
Traffic Engineering
Cisco ASR9K, CRS and GSR platforms
Cisco IOS and IOS-XR software
Testing and design activities within MPLS network (Cisco Devices) BGP, ISIS and OSPF routing configuration and troubleshooting
QoS configuration and troubleshooting in IOS and IOS-XR
Good IPv6 understanding
Advanced Layer 2 (VLAN, Spanning tree)
Fluent in English and German
Additional Nice to have experience will include:-
Performances and Architecture testing tool
Exposure to Cisco catalyst
Experience on multiple platforms including Cisco 7200 series and ASR 1K
CCIE certification or equivalent CCISP
Any other European Language would also be a bonus.
