For our client in the logistic sector we are looking for a Project Manager - Business Intelligence for location NRW.
Project Description: You will work in the field of BI support technologies and tools that provide data and reporting for analytics, planning, KPI measurement, operational efficiency and product performance. IT platforms encompass areas such as business intelligence, scanning and imaging, archiving, workflow and enterprise search.
Tasks:
- responsibility for BI products in the IT Platform Services Team
- adopt shared platform products to improve efficiency across service lines (as a team´s goal)
- implement a product strategy for your platform/product area (BI) in line with the strategy of the division and of the business partners
- drive the implementation of products, processes and IT systems to simplify business processes
- ensuring compliance of products with internal processes and with security and regulatory requirements and delivering product-related reporting and key financial figures
Required Skills:
- At least 10 years of experience in IT management and operations (implementation of IT solutions, applying new technology and innovations)
- Direct experience or qualifications in directing and coordinating large projects
- Ability to analyse business requirements and translating them into IT specifications
- Experience with implementing Business Intelligence Tools
- Detailed knowledge of tools such as SAP BW, Business Objects and IBM TM1 (and IBM Cognos)
- Understanding of enterprise architecture concepts, Middleware and system integration technology such as WebServices, SOAP and SOA
- ITIL qualifications or experience
- Nice-to-have: COBIT or TOGAF qualifications
Soft Skills:
- Very good communication skills in presentations and while moderating groups
- You are politically sensitive and able to drive activities to ensure that you reach long-term goals
- Finally you are experience in international, multicultural environments
