UI Designer - User Interface Designer
The UI Designers shall have a comprehensive knowledge of user interface design and usability/ergonomics problematic. This should be justified by several years of training and proven experience in UI design and/or ergonomics.
We need the services of UI Designers that show very good skills in producing user-centred UI design, as well as a good understanding of the patent processes, and the tools and methods used by client's staff. Experience with the results of previous UI projects, in particular "Bravo", is a strong advantage.
This project has delivered an initial version of a central work benchconcept. It is therefore essential that the UI designers show a high preparedness to acquire, work with and further develop those existing UI concepts that the client has already developed
The Contractor's staff shall use the same tools, methods and processes as those which are used by the client. These shall include but not be limited to the MS Office Suite of applications, as well as the current set of web development tools (mainly HTML, javascript, CSS for Internet Explorer 8, Firefox3.5). All deliverables shall be in editable format, including the documents and graphical im ages there in, and the Contractor shall state the tools used to produce said graphical images. The Contractor may, if it so wishes and deems this to be appropriate, deliver in addition non-editable "PDF"versions of the interim and/or final deliverables to define said deliverables for contractual purposes.
Excellent analytical skills and a fast understanding of the user requirements and the objectives of theproject are a mandatory for any candidate. Our current wireframes have been produced with Microsoft Visio by the "Bravo" project. The UI Designers shall also have knowledge of ISO norms (9241) or other international standards (WCAG 2.0) and be very aware of their implications for setting up and scoping projects.
