For one of our clients we are searching for an Infrastructure Senior Consultant (m/f)Tasks:
- detailed analysis of all non strategic infrastructure services through liaison with the Keep the Bank infrastructure heads and teams to define archiving, descaling and decommissioning plans
- identify and manage dependencies for the archiving, descaling and decommissioning of all hardware associated with the services
- define archiving requirements for each service if any, and document, plan and ensure execution
- define and agree descaling opportunities for services prior to decommissioning, write work packages for this and track their execution
- define final decommissioning plans and work packages for the infrastructure services and ensure execution to plan
- to liaise with a high number of affected PCMs to coordinate disintegration of a very complex network of applications and infrastructure services.
- to drive the process of disintegration
- Travelling between London and Frankfurt is expected
Skills:
- at least 10 years of infrastructure project management
- demonstrable ability to manage business aligned infrastructure projects to time and budget
- knowledge of top to bottom IT infrastructure services and how they interact
- ideally deeper knowledge of one key area e.g. Windows platforms and how the detailed services and built and technically work
- fluency in English is a must
- good knowledge of German is a clear plus
- Investment Banking experience is beneficial
