IT Security Project Manager - Contract
Skills :
- Extensive knowledge and proven expertise in IT Security topics - not only Internet Security (3-5 years professional experience)
- Relevant experience of working in the Financial Services Industry (3-5 years)
- Excellent reporting/report creation skills ( incl. excellent MS office skills – mainly powerpoint/excel)
- Excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills
- Excellent English skills (verbally and in writing)
- Consultant should have the experience described above, but also be willing to create powerpoints/decision documents himself/herself
Tasks:
- Proactively create the customer´s IT Security report, hereby actively collaborate with IT Security teams to collect data, create the report, drive reviews
- Review IT Security project status updates, check for consistency, progress, alignment to overall IT Security strategy
- IT Security Program Management
- Coordinate and prepare strategic IT Security topics within IT Security and with other divisions in the customer´s Global Technology division
Description:
IT Security Program Management
- creation of IT security report, review of IT security project status and alignments, coordination and preparation of strategic IT security topics
This project is expected to run between one and two years.
Competencies:
- Advanced project management skills
- Knowledge of security architecture & design, hands-on knowledge to identify applicable security solutions and potential implementations
- Ideally experience infrastructure services operations (especially: knowledge about processes required to operate an infrastructre service)
- Expert knowledge in CMMI, advanced knowledge in Six Sigma
- Basic knowledge in ITIL and SCRUM
- Knowledge in database activity Monitoring (ideally Imperva Secursphere)
- Recommended: knowledge in operating systems, databases and sql, Virtualisation and network technology
Soft skills:
- Good communication skills, highly customer focussed
- Collaboration with Business Partners, Service Delivery Leaders, & Product Owners
- Understanding of business requirements and business drivers, and capability to translate into technical/process requirements
Experience:
- Ability to work in international virtual teams
- Process design, process improvement and analysis
- Creating, deploying, operating, and maintaining Services
