Our client is currently looking for a Quality Manager Wireless (m/f) for a project in Bonn.Task Description
The project quality manager (PQM) manages, with responsibility for agreed results, all quality related project issues, of at least one complex or several smaller telecommunication projects.
This also includes the training of junior colleagues to cope with similar tasks at a later point.
Responsibility:
• Preparing, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing the quality subprojects within a complex telecommunication program (e.g. all ongoing projects of a business unit within an agreed time frame)
• This includes the consideration of the specific contractual scope and commitment (SQI) against project budget.
• Overall quality responsibility of all implementation works and on-site documentation through the entire site process until site acceptance by the customer.
• Manage and control project quality organization.
• Identify and analyse risks and implement response actions
• Planning and managing resources within the Quality Project organization and lead the project towards contractual quality targets (SQI) within the shortest possible time.
• Setting up and managing clear effective internal and external communication within all parties relevant to the project (Customer, Partner, Huawei).
• Manage and control Partners regarding used tools and all health and safety related issues.
• Interfacing all quality issues between Partners, Huawei project teams and the customer.
Quality project planning:
• Setting up a quality measurement system for a daily transparent view on project quality levels and issues.
• Estimating and planning of quality project organizations and efforts.
• Support sales team in quality related questions during contract negotiations.
• Plans a strategy for customer relationship (related to customer quality org.)
• Implementing project quality documentation and training of partners and project organization accordingly.
• Prepares quality relevant project milestones and communicates to the project management to ensure implementation into the end to end site process.
• Estimates and implements a pool of spareparts used during project execution by project trouble shooters and quality auditors.
• Implements and manages repair center cycle for damaged Huawei equipment during the execution phase of the project.
• Leads internal quality organization through the project. Responsible for on time quality checks of clusters.
• Proposes increase/decrease of quality check ratio to project management and communicates changes to customer.
Project Execution:
• Is familiar with the established procedures for steering and controlling quality related staff and contractual aspects of the project.
• Leads project organization and Partners to the best possible level of contractual SQI (Site Quality Index)
• Manages Partners and Customer in all quality related issues.
• Manages site acceptance in terms of quality on site and on-site documentation together with project management team
• Leads and performs quality meetings and audits with customer, partners and project organization.
• Manages sparepart pool of the project organization and the partners.
• Is able to report SQI project figures and status of the quality sub-projects.
• Plans, implements and controls corrective actions during the projects, if needed.
• Reports quality related issues directly to project management and forwards PM instructs and manages the quality project organization and the partners.
• Provides individual feedback about partners’ performance to PM and recommends further steps.
• Creates quality lessons learned documentation
Skills:
1. German speaking;
2. At least 3 years working experience of quality engineering or management for wireless Products.
3. Be capable of developing and implementing effective quality systems in accordance with ISO9001:2000 and TL9000.
4. Experience of successfully achieving and maintaining quality certificating
5. Quality professional or audit professional, such as DQG certification
