Data Migration Consultant/Manager (BSS/OSS) - Germany - English speaking(Data Migration Consultant, Data Migration Manager, Team Lead, Team Leader, Telco, Telecoms, Telecommunication, Telecommunications, Data Conversion, Datamigration, BSS, OSS).
One of our major clients is urgently looking for a Senior Data Migration Consultant/Manager.
In this position you will be responsible for participating in data migration activities that include data analysis, reporting, conversion, harmonization and business process analysis as a member of Data Migration Team. Applicant must be well experienced with large BSS migration projects associate with financial systems in general and an expert in specific business process areas. This position is integral in the performance of data migration activities for a specific process thread while driving communication with client SMEs and Business Process Experts for data migration activities.
Qualifications:
BSS/OSS data migration projects experience
Extensive Data Migration experience including proficiency in Data Analysis and Conversion planning for data migration activities
Work with billing and accounts-receivable functions in the transfer of customer AR and prepayments between systems
Proficient in Microsoft® SQL: SQL query skills, comprehensive understanding of SQL Table structure, and an understanding of relational databases.
Responsibilities:
Provide recommendations for optimizing the migration process
Develop unique data migration plans as necessary
Help lead and maintain aggressive testing, migration and development schedules onto new business system
Successful migrations will have little or no impact on external customers and will minimize impact to internal customers
Assist in determining data use/meaning; in regards to source or Legacy system.
Preparation of data for conversion/migration; clean up etc. if required in Legacy system
Analyze and make specific recommendations regarding customer record consolidation and handling
Migrate data records to new business system through electronic and/or manual means
Supervise temporary staff to assist with data migration
QA data migration process
Establish control procedures to ensure accuracy between source and target systems Reconcile portfolio migration and ensure successful migration of full branch portfolio
Direct other field personnel in data migration activities as required
Other duties as assigned
