A European Renewable Energy organisation currently has a contract requirement for an experienced (German Speaking) QA Manager for their offshore wind farm project based in Germany. The company dedicates themselves to generating energy out of wind, biomass and biogas. Their unit is also committed to the development of emerging technologies such as PV, geothermal and wave energy.
For their Germany Offshore wind department we are looking to bring aboard a QA Manager to implement and manage the Quality Assurance System for the commodities needed for the Offshore Wind project and their interfaces.
The focus is:
. Implementation of the QA System of German project(s) in strong cooperation with Central Construction Team
. Implementation of the Project Interface Management
. Support of the supplier qualifications and clarifications during tender phase
. Definition of the Supplier Quality Management plan's including operational Quality Assurance activities during manufacturing and commissioning phase
. Management and control of the Quality Assurance throughout the whole supply chain in collaboration with 3rd party experts
. Quality Management of internal Project processes
. Collection of experience and Lessons Learnt
The interfaces are:
. Project Team
. Central Construction Team
. Procurement (central and local)
. Engineering service supplier
. Supplier
. External Quality Assurance Services
. O&M
The requirements on the candidate are:
. Degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or comparable education
. Reasonable experience in engineering
. Reasonable experiences in projects in energy business
. Reasonable experiences in quality management (energy business)
. Proven Quality method Knowledge
. Language skills: English and German
. Good understanding of standard technologies in engineering solutions eg welding, machining, corrosion protection
. Frequent travelling
Nice to have a candidate with:
. Quality Auditor certificate
. PMI Certificate
. Offshore experiences
Mobility:
. Clean Driving Licence essential & requirement to travel within Germany & frequent travel abroad.
