Task Description: Design und Implementation of Real Time software in C
SW will first be based on VxWorks Real Time operating system; it will then be migrated to Linux
The SW to be written encompasses
o The control and supervision of CPRI interfaces
o The control of analogue HW elements
o The update algorithms for signal conditioning elements
The debugging and testing of SW components will occur on target HW in collaboration with analogue HW designers
The verification and adaptation of the update algorithms shall occur in a loop with MATLAB and the analogue target HW
The task shall be exhaustively documented
Required skills: Knowledge of VxWorks RTOS (Version 6.6); alternatively Linux
Experience with Embedded SW development in C
Experience with MATLAB
Know-how of the CPRI Interface
Knowledge in 4G/LTE radio standard
Basic know-how of analogue RF hardware
(Working as a team player)
(Ability to understand complex technical systems)
Language Skills: fluent in spoken and written German mandatory
fluent in spoken and written English mandatory
