Currently we are searching for one candidate who is able to cover the following position:Project description:
context of the Tools Project is to build/deliver the federated Configuration Managment Database and to implement all applications and scan procedures required to update and run the CMDB
Tasks:
get to know CMDB application suite in-depth (user, admin and development level)
specify, develop, test and implement scan patterns
advisory and support role towards CMDB users, customers and project organization regarding customising of CMDB environment
support and advisory role towards CMDB user and project organization regarding CMDB data quality and consistency (debugging and scan pattern analytics, system internals)
gather data and configuration view requirements from CMDB users/match requirements against tool capabilities/create and implement topology views
advisory and support role towards CMDB user and project organization regarding creation and update of configuration views and queries
contribute with input to the creation and modification of CI classes, attributes and relationships in the CMDB
develop and deploy reports from CMDB applications (TQM graphical development environment)
monitor, report and act on CMDB application events/support running and operating the CMDB systems
escalate system issues of higher impact
Must-Have Skills:
basic ITIL knowledge across all processes (Foundation V2 or V3 or equivalent)
basic knowledge and some practical experience in the area of Service Asset and Configuration Management
some practical experience in the area of IT Service Management/IT Operations
broad knowledge of CI classes, their main technical details and their implication Service Management requirements
general understanding of databases, their architecture and design
good programming skills
minimum of 2 years practical programming experience in Java and Script languages (preferably Python)
baic query language skills (SQL queries)
Softskills:
good analytical and testing skills
basic presentation skills
good team worker
excellent communication skills
