Currently we are searching for one candidate who is able to cover the following position:Tasks:
we have to provide and deliver guides and documentation for IT Helpdesk and Exploitation for monitoring, system evaluation and check, client installation, system administration support, etc. as a basis for the first level support, system monitoring and problem management
Backend Linux Services
a lot of backend services are based on Linux (Novell SLES) and Open Source solutions:
- Squid proxy server (Novell SLES 11)
- Spam protection
- SMTP server
- Nagios System monitoring
- Open Source Ticketing Solution (OTRS)
- Cacti
- Postfix
- Intranet Server
all these systems have to be checked, monitored and maintained, Patch management and update service is essential
all systems and services have to be integrated into the Nagios monitoring tool
Log files of the proxy server have to be checked and evaluated to avoid any attack from the internet
any system change has to be documented
Basic Parameters:
duration of the assignement: 162 days in the mentioned period
disposition for a security clearance
the estimated workload will be approximately 6 hours per week
additional major System and design changes (approximately 15 days per year) can be initiated by the contractor and have to be defined and coordinated
