For our customer we are searching for a (Senior) Human Factors Engineer

Our customer is expanding his User Experience team in the company¿s internal Operations function. They are currently looking for individuals who are passionate about engaging in User-Centered Design practices to solve a wide variety of business process and technology challenges. The UX team¿s charter is to deliver consulting services into the company¿s portfolio of strategic projects, with a focus on driving improvements in employee productivity (operating margin).
The (Senior) Human Factors Engineer will conduct both qualitative and quantitative user research including ethnographic studies, user interviews, usability testing, card sorting, and heuristic reviews. Working closely with Information (Interaction) Designers, this role will support the development and translation of user requirements into both business processes and a wide variety of SAP internal productive systems.

This position is not responsible for the User Experience of the products that SAP brings to market, although we do provide insights from our user research and internal implementations to influence those products.

Duties and Responsibilities:
¿ 60%: Conduct various types of user as part of overall stakeholder engagements. Analyze and prepare finding for inclusion in project reports and executive presentations, working in collaboration with the Senior Human Factors Engineer.
¿ 40%: Collaborate with project team, business stakeholders, and technical teams in the translation of user research output into user requirements and design recommendations.
¿ 10%: Support Senior Human Factors Engineers in a wide variety of cross-organization and corporate projects as required.
Senior Level Experience: 7-10 years
Education: Masters degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, the Social Sciences (Anthropology, Psychology, Cognitive Psychology), or a related field. Strong knowledge of statistics is a plus. Senior Human Factors Engineer will hold a PhD or significant business experience.
Location: preferably Berlin
Activity Level: Full time, hourl/daily rate: negotiatable
Must have experience in usability testing, analysis, heuristic evaluation, online survey, user interview techniques and be able to travel to domestically and internationally.
