Information Security Expert (m/f/d)
Role description
- Capable to analyse and understand complex Information Security issues (on technology, organisational and process level) and Information Security mitigating measures for those issues.
- Capable to adapt to the requirements of a complex business environment with diverse expectations and risk appetite.
- Is recognised and acts as Subject Matter Expert on his field of expertise to various stakeholders inside and outside of the Group, e.g. committees, working groups or projects.
- Provides guidance towards Information Security risk within the Information Security community. Ensures Information Security risks are managed and coordinated according to existing policies and guidelines.
- Primary lead to create and modify Information Security risk documentation (e.g. user manuals, solution briefs, functional summaries).
- Provides competency towards describing and estimation of risk appetite, including a definition for materiality of information security risks according to the elaborated risk assessment approach.
- Ensures close collaboration and awareness/oversight between CISO senior management and respective stakeholders like Chief Information Security Officer (Chief BISO).
- Systematically distributes his knowledge and expertise throughout the Group through trainings, coaching or mentoring of Information Security role holders and other employees.
- Actively supports achievement of Bank’s/Division’s strategy, plans and values, and ensures they maintain a clear understanding and ongoing alignment of activities with the organisation’s priorities.
- Demonstrates personal support to the achievement and maintenance of a high-performance culture in which people management and development is a key priority. Demonstrates personal commitment to supporting colleagues within the team.
- Demonstrates personal commitment to the Bank’s values.
- Adheres to Bank Policies and Procedures and drives compliance within the team.
- Takes ownership for own development and career management, seeking opportunities to develop personal capability and improve performance contribution.
Skills required
- Bachelor/Master’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent) &/or relevant practical experience.
- Excellent knowledge in at least one or more of the following;
- Information Security processes e.g. Identity and Access management.
- Information Security Incident and Problem Management.
- Information Security Governance for business and technology.
- Profound experience in business and
- IT processes and respective Information Security requirements.
- Experience in driving information security in cloud solutions (e.g. Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience in Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence technologies
- Extensive experience with financial markets and institutions.
- Excellent analytical skills, flexibility regarding problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and local language (written/verbal) as appropriate language as appropriate.
- Excellent coach, able to inspire and mentor employees, transferring his/her Information Security knowledge adapted to the specific need.
In addition, the following education/certification attainment will be beneficial:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or equivalent
- CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) or equivalent
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
