For our customer we are looking for a Test Designer Engineer VoIP over IMS (m/f) for a project in Munich.Description
Engineering Support for correction/adaptions in the the testlab of a fixed telephone network operator. Test design, test coordination, Test Case generation and execution:
• Definition of IAD requirements based on 3GPP standards and internal service designs for voice over IMS solutions
• Generation of IAD designs based on 3GPP standards and internal service designs for voice over IMS solutions (focus is xDSL and LTE with respect to the applied access technologies)
• Generation / extension of testcases for IADs for VoiP over IMS, incl. access relevant differences within IP Mulimedia Subsystem
• Independent elaboration of internal (pertial) projects, incl. development of solutions, technical discussions and project management input (estimation of timeline and costs)
• Execution of Reverse-Engineering for IADs
• Execution of acceptance testing for IADs
• Test Coordination
• Coordination and Planning of test lab integrationen
Skills required
• Very good VoIP / SIP / IMS knowledge
• DSL, GSM, IAD, IMS, LTE, SIP, SIP-Protokolle, Test
• Experience in the field of fixed network operators (particularly IAD & DSL)
• Experience with test case generation, execution and engineering support
• Willingness to travel to company site Hamburg and internation partners (device provider) for one or several days
• Independent work
• Possibly leading of small test teams (up to 4 persons)
• Design and requirements handling
• Coaching (technical and organizational) of the designers of the device manufacturer in the Munich lab.
Nice to have:
• 3GPP
• experience to communicate with Asian suppliers
Required language(s): German, Good Englisch written and spoken
