We are searching freelancer for our customer, an international finance company, to support it as aSenior Quality Manager (m/f).
Tasks:
• We are looking for a Senior Quality Manager (m/f) who shall be responsible for all activities relating to the project quality and process management, methodologies and tools which enable IT CRO to provide the highest quality products and services to its business clients globally.
• The Quality Manager is expected to tailor, improve and implement the IT Switzerland process standards, methodologies and tools acc. to IT CMMI ML3 requirements at project level.
• He should be familiar with ?rm and industry quality and process benchmarks, practices and trends and should be able to quantify bene?t at project level from their adoption.
• The Quality Manager is responsible for de?ning, gathering and analyzing relevant metrics to support decisions and recommendations, for performing assessments, reporting results and monitoring compliance.
• He provides coaching and training in the use and the bene?t of the applied project maturity level 3 standards, tools and methodologies, and champion their use at all levels.
• The Quality Manager must combine a focus on excellence and attention to detail. He must also possess signi?cant interpersonal skills to in?uence and engage colleagues in the adoption of quality practices.
Knowledge:
Main Responsibilities:
• Ensures projects align with IT policies and applied process & product related standards (CMMI ML3) in a pragmatic and project bene?cial way.
• Owns the QA project plan.
• Contributes to the development of process tailored solutions appropriate to the project needs.
• Monitors and seeks to ensure compliance with applied processes, standards and policies by organizing reviews at speci?c milestones and conducting product and process quality checks.
• Plans and performs assessments and report compliance results for his area of responsibility
• Documents and re-uses at project level best practices & lessons learned and improvement proposals
• Trains, coaches project & line managers on processes, procedures and methodologies
Required experience / skills:
• 4-8 years as Quality Manager or Project Manager with more than 4 years in the IT Financial Industry. An international certi?cation (e.g. ASQ or EOQ Quality manager) would be considered as an asset
• Exposure to various software lifecycle process models (waterfall, agile, incremental, iterative)
• +4 years Audit / Assessment experience (EFQM, CMM/CMMI, ISO 9000)
• +3 years Process Design & Improvement experience
• + 4years Project Management experience would be considered as an asset
• Very good knowledge & practical experience with project & quality management methodologies and tools
• Leadership abilities, committed to quality deliverables with sound interpersonal and relationship building
Skills:
• Strong presentation & communication skills (at senior management level) in English and German language.
• Knowledge of Italian language would be considered as an asset.
Duration:
• 01.07.2011 – 12 to 24 Month
