One of our clients in Darmstadt needs the support of an experienced information architect (m/w).
The main task is to create concepts for IPTV applications in an interdisciplinary, international project team.
The IA is responsible for the creation of the design concept as well as the functional specification to realize the product.
Required skill set:
- Extremely proficient in Visio, Excel, Word and other relevant IA tools
- Strong conceptual skills
- Experience in building solutions based on requirements, customer insights, tasks, use cases, user journeys, conceptual modelling and information architecture.
- Experience in creating functional specifications and user flows
- Ability to structure complex applications
- Enjoy challenging established conceptual standpoints
- Have lived through the service / web site launch lifecycle
- Ability to define best practices and help grow an internal pattern library
- Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Up to date in current design knowledge and trends especially in interaction design and information architecture
- TV, Web-TV or IPTV expertise is a plus
- Usablity background
- On air design, games design or Interactive TV experience is a plus
Needed experience and tools:
- Fluent business English
- Interaction Design
- Information Architecture (IPTV huge plus)
- Conceptual skills (IPTV huge plus)
- Functional Specification
- Wireframing
- Confident in specifying any type of interactive TV application
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient in Visio or Illustrator (or similar industry standard software packages)
