Currently we are searching for one candidate who is able to cover the following position:Tasks:
plans, prepares and executes functional and non-functional tests in data warehousing and business intelligence testing projects
reviews requirements, specifications, design documentation and other project documentation to generate and assure the quality of test cases for all relevant test phases
analyze Business Requirements and Data Quality Requirements and prepare functional and non-functional test cases
retests defects and traces test cases and results back to specific quality risks
documents deviations, creates test protocols and defect reports and documents test results into used defect tracking system
identifies improvements in the testing process
adapts and implements test framework concepts
performs test effort estimation of projects of various scopes
support Network Units in CEE regarding testing activities (remote as well as onsite)
consults clients/colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of the quality assurance and testing framework
Must-Have Skills:
a degree in Computer Science or adequate long-time working experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence testing
ISTQB certification certificate is implied
excellent knowledge of testing and test automation tools (IBM Rational ClearQuest, HP Quality Center, HP Quicktest Professional)
full-blown knowledge of working in an heterogeneous system environment with development tools (AIX, Linux, Windows, Oracle 10g, Oracle 11g, Teradata, IBM InfoSphere Datastage, Oracle Data Integration Suite)
full-blown ability to interpret entity relationship diagrams and physical database models (ErWin, Power Designer, SQL Developer)
high knowledge of programming language (Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, et.al.)
long-time experience of testing throughout the lifecycle (inc: functional and non-functional testing from system test to user acceptance test)
good knowledge of writing test documentation
excellent command of English in reading, writing and speaking
ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff as well as cross cultural and cross-hierarchical
Nice-to-Have Skills:
understanding of banking products and the IT landscape of a bank is an advantage
Softskills:
necessity to learn new things quickly
acts largely self-reliant and liaises with all groups of clients and staff related to his work
is able to handle critic and is a good team player
Basic Parameters:
willingness to travel and interest to work at various locations
