Our client is currently looking for a Java developer (m/f/d) railway domain for a project in Switzerland and remote.

- Introduction of best practices of the software architecture (distributed transactions)
- Contribution of best practices in automated testing of business logic
- Coordination of development activities
- Creation of implementation concept (technical architecture (data model), technical design of necessary business logic functions)
- Programming of business functions
- Programming of automated tests
- Good knowledge of Java development
- Good knowledge of frameworks/development environments: VAADIN, Eclipse, JUnit & Jenkins
- Good knowledge of object and data modelling
- Understanding of the functional requirements/business processes/domains at a marshalling yard
- Detailed technical knowledge/understanding of RCMS (own IP solution for rail freight)
- Detailed technical knowledge/understanding of the already existing IT functions of WAVE (client RCMS project)
- Fluent German (project language at the customer is German)
- Detailed knowledge of the business processes of a marshalling yard (especially hump yard)
- Detailed knowledge of the available interfaces to the railroad IT systems in Switzerland (FPS, sequence control, RCS)
