Tätigkeit:
For one of our customers from finance sector we are looking for a Help Desk - Server Supporter (f/m). The project is about setting up a global smartcard infrastructure, and roll out smartcards. The project has started with a roll-out to staff in the headquarters and is now being extended to a global setup. The following list gives an overview of some important aspects in the project: evaluation of the existing infrastructure, with respect to readiness for a global roll-out, design and implementation of an infrastructure which can serve up to 100,000 users, third level support for existing and new end-users, set-up of a global support model, i.e. definition of support responsibilities and escalation paths as well as on-boarding of all global end-user service desks, planning and execution of service provisioning to all global locations, in particular coordination of smartcard bulk roll-outs to end-users, collaboration with other IT groups, in order to identify and implement further smartcard use cases. Deliverables: responsible for the 3rd level support of a smartcard badge.Root cause analysis of reported issues with the smartcard, collaboration with other teams on a technical level (e.g. AD Engineering, Windows Engineering, Network Engineering, Remote Computing, Virtual Desktop (Citrix)), autonomous problem solving as well as tracking of problem solving by other teams, communication with the end-user service units (1st and 2nd level support), preparation and maintenance of support documents for the different support levels (1st - 3rd level), supervision of software packaging`s for the smartcard operation, on-boarding of international service desks, support of other teams during their smartcard-enabling efforts, e.g. smartcard for users on Citrix Terminal Servers. Skills: proficiency in English language, with respect to technical discussions with other teams as well as providing 3rd level support to international end-user service desks, IT allrounder with a profound background in enterprise IT landscapes, ideally experienced with smartcards and PKIs in an enterprise environment, in particular skilled in MS Windows related products and technologies, such as Active Directory, GPOs, Outlook/Exchange, Windows 7, skilled in Citrix products and technologies, such as Citrix Web Interface, ICA, good understanding of network and authentication technologies (e.g. Kerberos, 802.1x, RADIUS), good understanding of IT-Security related topics, such as public key cryptography.
