We are looking for an Information Security Specialist who can support our client in Bonn remotely.work tasks:
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through enterprise workstations, servers and other systems and in databases and other data repositories
- Perform information security risk assessments of projects, new technologies, IT assets, applications and vendors
- Coordinate the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits
- Implementation and monitoring of internal controls to measure policy compliance
- Align regional needs and initiatives with Global Information Security Policies and Standards
- Supervise investigations into any problematic activity and provide on-going communication with senior management
- Engage in ongoing communications to ensure enterprise wide understanding of security goals, to solicit feedback and to foster co-operation
- Develop and implement security awareness training to ensure consistently high levels of compliance with enterprise security policies
- Oversee the selection, integration and configuration of all new security solutions and of any enhancements to existing security solutions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes and the development of new attacks and threat vectors
requirements:
- Expert knowledge about topics with relevance to information security, e.g. information security best practices (e.g. ISO/IEC 2700x, BSI, OWASP/ASVS), ISMS, security concepts, information security awareness measures
- Knowledge of Data Protection legislation
- Understanding of information management and data classification
Except for Onboarding and the occasional meeting onsite in Berlin, the assignement can be completed remotely
