Right now we are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/d) with Solr/Elasticsearch Know-How.Following responsibilities can be expected:
- You are taking an innovative Builder role in the architecture and server-side implementation of a highly demanding e-commerce platform based on microservices
- In an interdisciplinary team with the ownership of your product, you are optimizing backend processes in a cloud-based infrastructure environment
- You identify and define requirements, standards, and APIs and account for enterprise-wide integration of these
- You assist in the implementation and validation of requirements for the improvements of programming style and architecture
- You care for the migration path to modern architectures
Your profile:
- You have at least five years of experience in backend engineering and were able to gain vast experience in architectures of complex systems
- Deep knowledge in the inner workings of the JVM inside a Docker container with Spring (Boot) Web and/or any further web application frameworks
- Domain-Driven Design and RESTful APIs were nothing for you but principles, so you built microservices, serverless architectures, and scalable distributed systems
- A list of items made you too boring that you always looked for a search box and tried the search machine with Solr / ElasticSearch.
- Because you are interested in the whole lifecycle of an application, the practices of CICD and (Cloud-) infrastructure are very well known to you and you love applying these in microservices
