Project situation:
The client is looking for external support in the form of a Testing Engineer for the Testing Department. The goal is to ensure product requirements are met in the development of IoT products and also to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction by approving product features based on confirmed tests.
Tasks:
- Derive and confirm product requirements: Using real-world derived relevant parameters, specify, describe, plan, verify and release confirmatory tests to avoid potential technical risks prior to launch.
- Set up and operate the test environment: set up, operate, further develop and optimize the test environments and test automation required for testing IoT products.
- Developing project-specific test concepts and test plans: creating test strategies, test concepts, and test plans taking into account the consistency from customer input to device behavior, as well as defined security aspects (cybersecurity) in collaboration with the relevant departments.
- Execution or commissioning of the tests, documentation, evaluation, and release of the tests: control or execution, acceptance, evaluation, documentation of the IoT tests. Release of the verifying tests and forwarding of the results to the Q-responsible person of the development project or other stakeholders.
- Standardization of test settings and maintenance of test descriptions using the test database.
Requirements:
- University degree in computer science.
- At least three years of professional experience in the field of computer science
- Good knowledge of the area of the app - testing and test automation, as well as in test management
- Ideally with ISTQB certification
- Ability to work independently, assertiveness, high conceptual and analytical skills, strategic mindset
- Team spirit and strong communication skills
