Core Network Technical Support Engineer - NetherlandsManning Global Group is currently looking for a Core Network Technical Support Engineer as freelancer for one of our international clients in the Telecommunication area, based in Netherlands.
The Core Network Technical Support Engineer is responsible for:
Engineering supporta. Supervising project engineering process, including hardware and software supervision, acceptance test.
b. Onsite support for site survey, installation and acceptance test when necessary.
c. Perform software commissioning of Core Network elements and integration with related network elements.
d. Interface with engineering partner to locate technical problems that may arise during the engineering process.
e. Interface with third party to locate technical problems that may arise during the integration.
Maintenance support.a. On site support in case of major or critical problems that can’t be solved by customer or local subcontractor according to SLA.
b. Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system and keep tracking these problems during the whole resolving process.
c. Responsible for network performance and capacity management, network change design and implementation and reporting internally and externally.
Desirable Requirements:
University bachelor degree or above in Telecommunications or Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or relevant experience.With experience working on Mobile/ Fix Core network PS (Packet Switch) include 2G or 3G, SGSN/GGSN will be priority.In-depth, current, technical knowledge of: 3GPP, Routing, CCS7, Voice over IP, Broadband, Unix, Sybase and oracle database.Proven ability to diagnose and localise issues using logical analysis techniques.Ability to work with customers, internal business unit organizations, and third party vendors.Fluent communication in English, Dutch would be a plus.
