Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing web applications.
• Minimum of 5 years in the QA field in testing commercial web applications & supporting
backend systems
• 3+ years of experience leading a quality assurance team
• 2+ year C# programming/scripting experience is mandatory.
• The tester should be able to collaborate with an application owner and should convert
functional tests into something which can be tested by an application.
Eg. The application owner has a requirement where he says the background of windows should
always be red. The test engineer should then be able to convert thin in to a requirement which
is measurable by the system, as example open the registry and check value XYZ to check if it
has RED as value as that is the indication for the red background in the app.
• Must have experience managing multiple QA projects
• Must have experience working and collaborating with off-shore (India) team members.
• Extensive knowledge of software development, QA methodologies & release process
• Ability to use tools and/or scripts to design, implement, and document automated tests
• Able to prioritize, manage and track multiple activities and tasks at a rapid pace
• Create manual test cases from business functional requirements and later convert those test
cases to automated test scripts
• Developing test strategy and test plans, creating manual test cases &automation scripts
• Create and distribute daily/weekly status reports to management on work and issues found
during test.
• Defining and reporting KPI’s / Metrics to executive staff
