Tasks:
• Operation of the Ivanti Desktop and Server Management ("DSM") infrastructure
o Central servers
o Decentralized servers / depots
o Integration in order chain / workflow tools such as Service Now or Savvy
• Detailed knowledge of the following DSM modules and perform, among other things following tasks:
o Installation and update of Frontrange Ivanti DSM
o DSM Spy
o Planning and implementation of software rollouts
o Project management
o Project execution
o Ivanti DSM Client
o Windows Script Support
o Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI)
o DSM Conflict Manager
o DSM Component Manager
o Web Service Interface
o Windows Terminal Server support
o Variables and their usage
o Installation of operating systems using OSD
• Processing of errors (3rd level support)
• Distribution of software packages using IVANTI DSM in the form of individual and mass rollouts
• Creation / adaptation of client images / boot images
• Monitoring, reporting and further development in the area of IVANTI DSM servers
• Adaptation to the underlying SQL servers, e.g. of parameters
• Analysis, evaluation and implementation within MBAM / BDE environments
• Detailed and extensive knowledge of Microsoft basic technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS Sharepoint, MS
Profile
• Experience in software distribution (including security packages)
• Experience with MS Windows Server
• Knowledge of the MS client operating systems (Windows 7 and 10)
• In-depth knowledge of MS SQL Server and Reporting Services
• Experience with virtualization primarily in the server environment
• Experience in using the MS System Center Virtual Machine Manager (MS SCVMM) console
• Very good knowledge of operating methods (including Global Factory Approach)
• In-depth knowledge of creating change requests for new, complex customer requirements within the framework of the T-Systems portfolio while adhering to the security requirements
• Very good experience in technical advice and in communication with internal and external customers, also at C-level management level
• Well-founded experience in managing stakeholders
• Very good written and spoken German
