Currently we are searching for one candidate who is able to cover the following position:Tasks:
understand and document customer requirements, use cases and priorities
conduct trainings, demos and interface with users across the organization to drive adoption of product features while providing technical support
interact with remote teams, resolve issues and escalations
document and develop functional, design and unit test specifications
Must-Have Skills:
a strong understanding of application development specializing in the Eclipse software framework
develop software to manage R&D workflows and integrate with 3rd party applications
Excel, Accelrys Pipeline Pilot, Omero and ELN)
excellent written and verbal communication skills
BS EE/CS/mathematics or equivalent experience
5 years and more experience in software development
3 years and more experience closely interacting with customers throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
development experience with Java, OOP, and SQL
experience in databases, data structures, and web services
Nice-to-Have-Skills:
experience in data pipeline software like Pipeline Pilot and KNIME
experience in Scientific Informatics, Cheminformatics, Bioinformatics, Electronic Notebook (ELN) development or in any pharmaceutical research environment
Softskills:
highly motivated team player
