Job Description:
Technical skills (Required - Mandatory)
• SME with good knowledge on the following technologies - SAN (IBM, DellEMC, HPE), NAS (NetApp, ISILON), Object, HPE/ Cohesity, Dell ECS Backup (DellEMC, Veeam)
• Required deep technical skills in Storage & SAN Domains,
• In depth knowledge of storage & backup subsystems like Netapp, Dell / EMC, Hitachi, Commvault/Veritas backup solutions
• Deploy, Manage and troubleshoot SAN performance
• Deep experience in Installation and configuration of storage subsystems is required
• Experience in Performance Analysis and Tuning of storage subsystems is mandatory
• Experience in Storage data migration techniques is most important
• SAN switch deep knowledge base should include Brocade/CISCO switches, Director & routers
• Design and deploy backup and DR solutions
• SAN, NAS data migrations across heterogenous storages
Technical skills (Required - Nice to have)
• Unix/Linux/windows administration knowledge preferred
• DR solutions based on VMware SRM and Veeam
• NAS integrations with AD
People skills:
Lead 5-10 team members
Soft skills:
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills;
• Ability to quickly produce PowerPoint slides which are both content rich and visually appealing Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness in the mind of others;
• Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness in the mind of others
Area of responsibilities:
• Excellent understanding of IT architecture, concepts and solutions and broad foundational knowledge in Storage domain.
• Ability to understand and analyze client requirements in Storage, Backup and DR area (Administration and Migration) and propose pragmatic solutions
• Develop solutions, proposal, effort estimation and presentation for Storage and backup
• Develop Architecture, high level and low-level Storage and backup design drawings and design documents.
• Ability to quickly produce PowerPoint slides which are both content rich and visually appealing
