For our client, an international sports manufacturer in the greater Nuremberg area, we are offering from now on a self-employed position as: DATA SCIENTIST (M/F/D)Key information at a glance:

Duration: 6 months (extension possible)
workload: 5 days per week
in the greater nuremberger area AND remote
YOUR TASKS
Extract raw data from primary sources and create and improve data cleansing process as well as ETL Process; Generate output from ETL Process; Assess new data sources
Assess data categorization; Develop and improve mapping files and data glossary; Improve data sharing process
Validate data accuracy by comparing results from different sources; Develop process for validate output from ETL process; Guarantee data quality from ETL outputs
Develop documentation from ETL processes; mapping files and data sharing process
Improve backend and layout from current reports; Generate final reports
Develop backend and layout for new reports
Develop documentation explaining report structure and how to generate the reports
YOUR SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Business Informatics or similar qualification
5 years of relevant experience handling and combining large datasets
Experience in market or business intelligence
Advanced analytical skills and technical proficiency in Excel and Alteryx mandatory
Solid skills in Excel is required, being able to automate processes & calculations, optimizing process time and generate automated reports in Excel (output in PDF file)
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau or MicroStrategy) desirable
Understanding of processes, given the need to create documents with guides, process flow and “how to’s”
Professional efficiency in both spoken and written English
