Scope of Services / Deliverables
The Build Validation Manager is globally accountable for the technical validation of all infrastructure build projects for a given product line consisting of server, network, storage, back-up and peripheral equipment. He ensures all technical aspects and dependencies are aligned with the stakeholders of the build validation team, technical feasibility and availability of infrastructure is assured, dependable configuration documentation is created and timelines are kept.
Skills
• Experience with the methods and tools of product build in IT or other industries
• Background of IT Infrastructure technologies and Infrastructure architectures
o Datacenter management
o Network management
o Compute (Virtualization and bare metal)
o Backup
o Storage
• Consumer / customer orientation, high quality of work focus and result / deliverable oriented thinking
• Ability to achieve results in a globally distributed organization and eagerness to work with people of other cultures
• Ability to work in a self-contained way
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in Business English
