a) Projektbeschreibung / Project descriptionThe service is requested as part of the projects L TTM/IDH20, A TTM/IDH Creation/MD Change Requests. The projects have the purpose to improve the IDH (Material Master) Creation Process which is crucial in reducing time-to-market (of a new product launch) and raising process quality/efficiency across all Businesses.
As part of these new projects (Time to Market projects of Laundry and Adhesives) which are aimed at improving the IDH Creation process and improving the time to market, new modules/work packages must be developed in the Global Master Data System of the customer, using Webdynpro programming for User Interface and ABAP for Workflows. The main part of the development focuses on grouping together multiple material type creation/change requests in a single package and trigger integrated and connected workflows.
b) Leistungsbeschreibung / Task description
The service of the contractor is delivered using an agile working method. External resources are needed as there is no internal staff with the required expertise in the following area: SAP ABAP Development
Therefore, the external consultant is in a unique position and performs significantly different tasks than the internal employees.
One sprint consists of three weeks and there is a weekly jour fixe. During these meetings, the team discusses the current requirements and the contractor independently performs the following tasks:
Provide Functional and Technical Designs to the Business/IT counterpart to facilitate sign-off and approval from Business;
Develop, configure & customize in the SAP Webdynpro / SAP GUI (Graphical User Interface) based on the requirements provided by business and revised by IT consultant;
Providing technical documentation to IT consultant
Creating training documentation (sign off by teh customer required) & Conducting key user training sessions with respect to the User Interface; about 6 key user trainings foreseen (online sessions)
Functional Testing of the solution (unit testing, support of User Acceptance Testing by Business)
Planning & reporting of the assigned work packages as defined by Project Management in Jira tool (effort estimations and reporting actual efforts) for the weekly Sprint planning sessions.
The service of the contractor has the goal to provide the software enhancements in the necessary quality.
c) Benötigte Skills / Required Skills
SAP ABAP Programming (OOP - Object Oriented Programming, Creation and handling of data structures, tables and objects using field symbols)
SAP WD ABAP (FPM - Floor Plan Manager, Create Screen Elements using dynamic programming (using Runtime classes)
Interfaces (RFC, XML (SOAP), File, IDOCS and ODATA)
Knowledge about workflow automization
Should be a beginner in HTML5, JavaScript and CSS – Good to have
Self-motivated and Open to learn new technologies, in case required
SAP Master Data knowledge with expertise in Material Master from a techno functional perspective.
Experienced in at least 3-4 full lifecycle implementation projects involving Material Master Data.
Knowledge of SAP Data Model, especially Material Master.
Conceptual knowledge of SCM processes with expertise in the area of SAP MM, SD and PP.
Experienced in Integrating cross-work stream topics.
Experienced/Capable of creating Training Documentation and conducting end user training sessions.
Experienced in Test Management. (Creating Test plans, coordinating testing among stakeholders, resolving issues etc.)
