My client is looking for Project Manager, and I wanted to know whether this would be of interest to you or not?
Position: Project Manager
Duration: 6months +
Location: Eschborn, Germany
Rate: 350 Euros per day
Language: German & English
Deliverables:
- Manage to project through to closure
- Planning associated to platform release to DB's Change Governance Framework standard
- Manage project budget associated
- Manage and update senior stakeholder with respect to project status
Acceptance Criteria:
- Weekly project updates relating to status, risks, issues, finances, dependencies and changes
- Timely escalation of issued demonstrated with clear data points
- Matrix manage resource dependencies
Required - Project Management
- Minimum of 10 years' experience managing implementation of Database development projects
- Background in the financial services industry¬
- Aptitude for chairing productive objective-oriented meetings, with clearly documented key points & actions
- Aptitude for managing technical staff in a dynamic Matrix working environment
- Aptitude for managing demanding clients, and managing/resolving conflicts
- Able to work weekends, and to attend global meetings outside of traditional US working hours
- Stakeholder management
Required -Technical (database/development)
- Basic understanding of database functioning.
- Understanding of Oracle Database and Oracle Apex technologies
- Understanding of Database design in a large environment
- Demonstrable experience of managing high-performance, high-capacity database projects in a critical production environment.
- 5 years + experience of managing development and Database projects.
- Relevant experience in Managing "software product development using Oracle Application Express, Java, and Python with strong modelling and design capabilities.
- Knowledge on RDBMS Databases, ZFS Backups, Oracle Monitoring and Alerting
- Demonstrable track record of delivering similar development
- Experience within a tier1 banking experience ideally Deutsche Bank infrastructure environments
- Able to work in virtual global teams in a Matrix organization.
- Extensive analytical skills, flexibility regarding problem solving.
Candidates should have: (Skills/Competencies)
- A Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in IT or Computer Science related discipline (equivalent diploma or technical faculty)
- Fluent in English (written/verbal)
- German would be advantageous
