Role: JBoss Enterprise Application Product Owner (Team Lead)Tasks
• Project Support & Service Level management.
• Provide mentorship to team.
• Provide Service recovery for major incidents/P1 tickets through hands-on troubleshooting
• Leadership in handling technical issues and escalations
• Perform Root Cause Analysis for Major Incidents and drive completion of corrective/preventive actions
• Implement service improvement program.
• Review High Level Design, Low Level design and Acceptance test plans of inflight projects
• Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents
• Participate in business meetings with various stake holders on a need basis
• Effort estimation/reviews on need basis for new projects.
• Work with project teams for activities such as new server build, OS upgrades, migrations etc

Skills
• Expertise in WebLogic/WebSphere Server
• Hands-on experience in installing and configuring Jboss in various environments.
• Installed and configured plug-ins for web servers like Apache HTTP, Jboss Web server, Microsoft IIS to communicate with Weblogic Server.
• Web application services, including Apache Tomcat for JavaServer Pages (JSP)
• Relevant experience (Jboss EAP, wildfly, Apache) is preferred
• JBoss experience to help with support, buildout/config/clustering/best practices/troubleshooting/performance tuning for JBoss (Linux)
• Jboss Enterprise Web server /Apache Experience , JDBC/JMS configuration and code deployment on JBOSS
• Experience with Standalone, domain mode Jboss and experiencing in building out HA, clustered environment.
• Good knowledge of of other Middleware product (WAS, WLS), Shell Scripting, Linux, Network, TCP/IP
• Automating common tasks and writing scripts in Python, Ruby, Perl, Kron and Bourne Shell. Writing scripts for clearing logs, monitoring server performance, Restarting JVMs, Supporting Distributed Date changes etc.
• Strong experience installing and configuring JBoss
• Experience integrating JBoss with web servers (apache), MQ and databases (Oracle, MySQL)
• Experience managing Middleware related monitoring tools, including, New Relic, Wily and Patrol.
• Experience installing, configuring, performance tuning and troubleshooting Middleware software is highly desirable.
• Install new machines with Application Servers/Webservers
• Fulfill AO or DevOps request and solving incident
• Update new software and bug/security fix
• Development API and UI for self service
• Migration of software to new release
