for an existing contract with one of our direct clients we are urgently looking for a
IT Security Manager (m/f/d) - Application & Cloud Security
Start: ASAP/Duration: 12-18 months/Location: Remote, Travel to Essen if necessary/ProjectID: 4368
Our customer is a listed European energy supply company which is one of the largest utilities in Germany. As a IT Security Manager you will specifying, designing and creating security solutions for IT security applications in the area of hardening and benchmarking as well as consulting and solution architect for IT security application solutions
Your tasks:
- Ownership and continuous improvement of the application security framework
- Development and implementation of a comprehensive application security strategy
- Management of risks within applications
- Assessment of the teams with regard to compliance with security requirements
- Advice and guidance on the technical security needs of development teams & security champions
- Selection, implementation and ownership of security tools (eg SAST or SCA)
- Inspire and influence others to implement safety principles
- Work closely with IT security and other service owners who are responsible for defining governance, policies and requirements related to infrastructure security
- Work closely with system owners to extend infrastructure security to new or modified services for additional systems
Your skills:
- (Very) good practical experience and knowledge of IT security in application development in general Background in application/software security
- Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructures (especially AWS), ideally including security aspects
- Ideally experience in integrating security principles/guidelines into the software development process through SDLC (Security Development Lifecycle) processes
- Consulting skills with the ability to communicate with various stakeholders including development teams
- Experience with Pen Testing
- Fluent command of the English language
