Responsibilities :Adhering to SLAs
Mentoring / Training Team Members
Handling tickets / requests
Perform root cause analysis
Troubleshooting and drive technical issues with other teams/domains (Server, VMWare, Storage etc.)
Defining processes and ensuring that the processes are adhered to
Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration
Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA
Understanding of Multi-geo support environment
Responsible for building / maintaining a test environment
Improves and maintains customer and employee satisfaction
Suggests new technologies and design changes
Monitoring and maintaining SLA requirements by the team members
Testing / Auditing/processes as required from time to time
Identify Skill gaps and plan for training / knowledge updating
Manage Campus Network and EMEA WAN infra
Technical Requirements:
Excellent hands-on experience on the following products :
Cisco L3 & L2 Switches
Cisco Nexus 9K/7K/5K/2K Series of switches
Cisco IOS Software and NX OS Software
Knowledge of SD WAN would be advantageous
Wireless LAN technologies – Cisco and Aruba or Extreme.
WAN Acceleration/optimization Riverbed
Knowledge or Hands on experience with CISCO Prime would be advantageous
VMWare NSX
Network Management tools – Solarwinds, HPNNMi or Splunk
Application Load balancers F5 Big IP LTM/GTM or Citrix netscaler
Experience with BGP, SDWAN and Security Technology
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
Good documentation skills
Basic understanding of Project Management
Should have a excellent customer handling skills
Able to handle high pressure situations
High level of acceptance / Act as trusted advisor
Can drive HCL’s value and its methodology
Excellent German and English language skills
Experience/Ability working in global organizations
- Experience on SDN AWS or AZURE will be an added advantage
Years of Experience:
Total : Above 8+ Years of experience
Relevant : 6+ years of hands-on experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining a medium/large environment
