IT Project Manager to help lead the projects running.Key Tasks:
At a high-level, the IT Project Manager will be accountable to support and manage the day-to-day activities for this project. As the IT Project Manager, and in close collaborations with the software integrator, your role will include the follow key tasks:
• Create / Maintain project plan
• Lead the (standing) weekly project meetings (Core Team level and PMO level); maintain and deliver status reports every week
o Prepare, carry-out, follow-up, coordinate, monitor, facilitate and conduct any kind of meeting and/or workshop
• Resource Management (both business and IT resources)
• Escalation Management
• Risk/Issue Management; ensuring the project remains: on-track and on-budget
• Support IT Program Leader with project cost controlling
• Communication on all levels (IT experts, SPOCs, key stakeholders, Management (Business & IT)
• Track Milestones and Deliverables; coordination of tasks across IT and business
• Help prepare, review, finalize presentations and related project documentations (E.g. SLC related documents, ERP documents, etc.)
• Use internal Project Methodology
Who You Are (Skills)
• Strong and effective IT project manager who is comfortable: managing large projects (500k - 1mEUR+), working as part of a fast paced and a large cross-functional team (geographically dispersed), and working remotely (until business travel policies change per COVID-19)
• At least 7 years of IT Project Management experience
• Strong communication, written and presentating skills
• (ideally) You have previous experience managing projects related to Accounts Payable processes & technology
o Knowledge of OpenText VIM (Vendor Invoice Management), OpenText IES (Invoice Extraction Services) and SAP ERP are preferred, but not mandatory
• Experience in either the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry, would be a plus
• Hands-on work attitude
• Comfortable working autonomously & independently; a “self-starter”
• Ability to cope with highly complex, multi-layer dynamic project structure
• Familiar managing and working with both on-shore and off-shore colleagues, and dealing with 3rd party vendors
• Good command of English language, ideally also German language
• IT-related degree
