For our prestigious customer, we are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer for a 6-month initial contract (with visibility for over a year) in Germany! For this role we are looking for someone who has exposure to being a DevOps Engineer and comes from a technical background with experience in AWS Cloud and DevOps needed.
Required Skills:
- Advanced experience with Linux incl. Scripting (Bash, Python)
- Advanced experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure/Cloud Services
- Container Orchestration (Docker)
- Log and metrics management (ELK Stack), Monitoring (Prometheus)
- Infrastructure as code/Deployment and configuration automation (Ansible, Terraform)
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Nexus etc.)
- Infrastructure Security Principles
- Networking
Nice to Have:
- Virtualization (KVM, Citrix etc.)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
- Software engineering (design patterns, version control, automated testing, concurrent programming etc.)
- Databases (eg PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Neo4J)
- Distributed systems (eg Spark)
- Event based systems (eg Kafka)
