Role: Azure Devops EngineerLocation: Munich
Type of Contract: Freelance Contract

Skills Required:
1. Azure Foundational Services_ All following services are used and need to be understood:
Experience: 3-4 years experience
Express Route, Load Balancer, VNET, VPN Gateway, VMs, CDN, DNS, AKS, Azure Functions, Subscriptions, Auto Scaling and Scale sets, Blob storage, CosmosDB, Rediscache, VSTS, Operational Insights, Azure Resource Manager, Building Blocks, Powershell, Azure AD, App Service Certificate, Key Vault, API Management, Service Bus Queues, Azure Notification Services, Marketplace.
Need to understand basic application architecture stacks and how these are delivered through the foundational Azure services mentioned.
Can build requested architecture stacks using Azure components.
2. Scripting_ Python, Bash, etc.
Experience: 2 years
Need to understand how to create scripts to achieve small tasks that cannot be handled by bigger tools
Need to be able to write Azure functions to carry out simple tasks using Azure services, such as check and report on status of services.
3. Linux / Windows Admin _ Install Operating Systems, install application services, automation of tasks (Ansible / Chef)
Experience: 2-3 years, Linux preferred.
Capable of building services (across many target machines)
Diagnosing problems with running services
4. DevOps_ Coding in CICD, use of Github, Jenkins, best practices on code structuring, etc. Jira, Confluence. SCRUM.
Experience: 2-3 years
Must be used to developing and maintaining code that forms part of standardised services.
Must be able to create new Jenkins pipelines as required.
5. IaC_ ARM Templates and Terraform
Experience: 3-4 years
Need to be competent in coding Infrastructure stack deployments in these.
Need to understand differences between them, which is preferable for given scenario.
