For our customer located in St. Leon Rot/Germany we are currently looking for a:Work Center Manager (m/f/d
Location: Remote (some days onsite in St. Leon Rot, Germany)
With an upcoming service provider transition our client needs to free internal resources to perform the transition. In order to keep business continuity, Data Center Management is hiring two work center managers.
Like the automotive industry Data Center Management (DCM) as part of Datacenter Infrastructure Build (DIB) is defined as a work center.
Hereby, DCM is covering all physical services within our clients datacenters. Work center managers will be required to cover the service planning and ordering of IMAC-D services (technical planning is not needed).
This involves communication according to standard processes, planning and coordinating deliveries. Also, reporting and transparency on all activities in the work center.
As we expect the transition to run until Q3-2021 project duration is currently up to this point.
Internal personnel will train the newly hired work center managers on our clients Internal processes. After that the work center managers will cover parts of our work center on own behalf. Also, having external expertise available, our client appreciates efforts on continuous improvement for the work center management area.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Data Center Management Workcenter Manager is responsible to manage the IMAC-D and service request workload within the Workcenter
Plan, Order and Review of IMAC and service request workload incl. completion dates
Coordinates IMAC-D related service requests from other Work center management
Controls the operational and financial performance, escalates as required and implements CSI
SPOC for Customers and Service Provider Operations Manager
Must Haves
Principle Consultant (min. 3-6 years experience in IT)
Fluent in English language
Project Management skills
Experience in Data Center / IT Environment (Minimum: Basic understanding needed, not less than 1 year of experience)
Very good communication skills
Office Tools (e.g. Excel)
Strong team player
Nice to Haves
Language: German, Russian
SAP Tool Experience
