MI Data Analyst (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Analyze business requirements, design and implement solutions through the Agile development life cycle to source data from systems into the MI & Reporting Workspace
- Design and implementation of solution and data architecture for sourcing, transformation and presentation of data to a global, cross functional audience including senior executives and managing directors
- Presentation of solution to senior executives
- Design and build of ETL packages using Pentaho, Hue, Haoop and Oracle
- Interrogation and analysee of data in multiple data sources with broad range of tools/languages including PL/SQL, T-SQL, HiveQLand Impala
- Manage the data sourcing prioritization based on data quality, availability and sourcing complexity
- Understanding of platform integration points to provide automated links to existing ‘Golden Source’ system
- Participate on other CRegO system and technical related work where relevant to the adoption of Tableau Dashboards
Main qualifications
- Profound experience of data sourcing, transformation, cleansing and analysis skills
- Experience with handling and analysing complex data sets
- Profound knowledge of ETL packages and tools like Pentaho, Hadoop and Oracle
- Knowledge, exposure and experience of Global Financial Institutions
- Proven track record across the entire MI development cycle from initial requirements gathering, proof of concept, through testing to go live
- A structured approach to gathering MI requirements from multiple data sources
- Understanding of data visualisation best practices
- Experience of working across multiple teams and geographic locations, adopting a collaborative approach
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and influencing skills (written and verbal)
- Structured and take an organised approach, with high standards for accuracy and delivery to deadlines
- Capable of managing multiple deliverables in parallel
- Take ownership and able to prioritise workload independently and adjust to changing priorities
- Be passionate about what you do with the ability to lead solutions and engage users in prototyping sessions
