Data Platform Rollout ManagerThe client is one the largest services provider in the world with first-class products.
Key Responsibilities
- planning, resourcing and implementation of the identified projects
- roll out manager for projects with operational, development and deployment teams
- ensure the solution is delivered on time and on budget for the agreed scope
- overall Project Manager for the development functions
- management of the Jira and MS teams for the projects
- preparation and moderation of meetings and workshops and follow-up of agreed tasks
- effort estimates, resource planning, availability monitoring, project plans and status reporting
- consulting of manager and project team on the project management approach
Key Requirements/ Skills
- Experience as project manager or/and rollout manager in a data or IOT driven projects (data platform, data lake, data governance etc.)
- Technical knowledge and general understanding on the following topics:
--- Data Engineering Pattern (Ingestion, Transformation, Storage, Consumption etc.)
--- Requirements of running modern data solutions in production at scale
--- Event Based systems (e.g. Kafka)
--- Distributed systems (e.g. Spark)
--- Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Neo4J)
- Critical thinking
- strong and direct communication, esp. as remote based project requires that
- High customer orientation
- Experience with common agile working tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Git)
- Fluent English other languages (e.g. German, Italian, etc.) are a plus
