You will have come from an HSE background within the Manufacturing/Oil & Gas/Transportation arena, to support the operational leadership team within all areas of HSE.
Coordinating HSE for the countries across Europe and supporting the individual country and plant HSE managers in their roles.
- You have a key role within the business by participating in the Global HSE team that is responsible for the development, rollout and follow up of the implementation of policies, standards (directives) training, system tools and guidelines within HSE.
- You are also a member of the Global Audit team and is responsible for conducting Audits worldwide.
- You will communicate and follow up all Group communications regarding incidents and identified best practices within HSE.
- You are responsible for identification and communication of key safety and environmental regulatory requirements and develop/implement organizational compliance strategies.
- You take responsibility for setting organizational goals and monitoring program effectiveness through internal auditing of facilities.
- Your support the development and implementation of HSE management systems.
- Responsible for benchmarking and identifying and driving HSE best practices.
You will have the following experience:
- In-depth knowledge and experience with HSE regulatory requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial hygiene concepts and data analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE-related subject matter and theories with extensive experience in development of policies, standards and system tools within the areas of responsibility.
- Overall understanding of processes, continuous improvement work and an ability and interest in identifying and championing new ideas for possible adoption in the Group.
- Ability to build relationships, teamwork and networking in a virtual international context.
- Working and managing teams/committees in a Matrix organization.
- Strong project and people management skills.
- Strong communication skills, business fluency in German and English
- Experience in setting up HSE procedures and policies
