The incumbent should be open to join on an immediate basis.Lead the test assessment, creation of the test plan, test schedule, test case development, execution, and fixing for both functional and non-functional testing requirements (i.e. performance, usability, penetration testing, etc.) in Agile
• Build, configure, and implement test automation framework scripts and DevOps test cases to support continuous testing with continuous deployment pipeline. This includes unit tests, integration testing, acceptance test, components, and UI Testing.
• Define testing stories, acceptance criteria, testbed requirement, success criteria for EPICS, Features, and Stories working closely with the product owner, solution architect, and the sprint teams using JIRA / DevOps
• Actively participate in agile release/sprint planning, user story creation, and acceptance criteria, leading to test case development on Azure technology stack including Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure Synapse, Control-M
• Directly engage with the development team, business analysts, and product owner to gather requirements
• Ensure appropriate level of functional, regression, automated, usability, and unit testing is performed on applications to mitigate the risk and ensure a smooth release.
• Define and track metrics including defects, defect counts, test results, test status, defect root cause analysis, mitigation plan on a daily to stakeholders
• Frequently communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to team members and management
• Facilitate test execution status, defect meetings, manage work assignment and monitoring with global teams
• Drive continuous process improvements to increase the efficiency of the testing by epic/feature
