I am currently working with a healthcare start-up in Berlin who are looking to hire a freelance devops engineer.They are a digital health and wellness start-up who are about to go through an exciting period of growth and are looking to augment their team to facilitate their ambitious growth plans.
Requirements:
- Ensuring that the platform is optimally maintained through monitoring, performance measurements and automation
- Support in the entire life cycle of the product
- Establishment of a DevOps concept and support of the development team to containerize the existing applications
- Continuous development of the cloud platform through the introduction of new services
- Presentation of technical concepts, solutions and project status reports
- Fix problems and malfunctions in collaboration with the developers
Profile (not all essential):
- Several years of professional experience, including in the area of administration/ or development.
- Confident handling on the Linux console and in the network stack
- Experience with Public Cloud, automation and CI / CD
- Good and practical knowledge in Docker and Kubernetes as well as in cloud technologies (e.g. Open Stack, Azure and AWS) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
- Ideally previous experience with modern PHP
- Desirable: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Golang, and JavaScript
- Readable and well-structured code
Fully remote.
3-4 month contract with possible chance of extension.
