NextLink are working with an instantly recognisable global organisation who are seeking a Senior Java Developer for their Munich offices. The contract is not due to start until Jan 2021 but this will be a long-term project hence why the client is looking for profiles now.
The role will focus on the design, construction, documentation and maintenance of J2EE systems including web applications, Server Side components, and integration with other systems.
Required Experience
- Minimum of four years commercial experience developing Java/J2EE applications.
- Must have easy familiarity with common design J2EE patterns.
- Excellent Java/J2EE web application development experience.
- Excellent Java/J2EE Server Side development experience.
- Excellent Java XML experience using standard XML tools/libraries including SOAP protocol.
- Excellent understanding and practical experience in object-oriented design and development using Java/J2EE.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Strong understanding and experience with developing J2EE applications backed by Relational Database Management Systems, including Object Relational Mapping tools (eg Hibernate), JDBC configuration and tuning.
- Expert knowledge of web technologies, thorough extensive working experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and at least one JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, React, Vue.JS, Bootstrap and AngularJS).
Nice to Have Experience
- JBoss/Wildfly Application Server 4 and higher versions experience.
- WebLogic Application Server 11g, 12c, 14c experience including JMS and/or clustering.
- Experience with portals, web content management.
- Experience with API driven development and single page application (SPA) development
