A Freelance DWH Developer ( PostgreSQL, Apache Airflow, Python ) is needed to join a leading Insurance company based in Cologne on an initial 3 – 6 months contract.
As the DWH Developer ( PostgreSQL, Apache Airflow, Python ) you will be responsible for building a Greenfield Datawarehouse built on PostgreSQL. You will be required to transfer the legacy systems and transform the data, ensuring its compatibility with the new Datawarehouse.
You will have the autonomy to create the new Database schemas and whilst there is a strong preference to use Pentaho, you can choose which ETL tools you wish to use.
The keys skills required for the DWH Developer ( PostgreSQL, Apache Airflow, Python ) include:
• Strong Datawarehouse development experience
• PostgreSQL experience
• Experience Programming using Python
• ETL experience – Ideally Pentaho
• Apache Airflow / Ni-Fi experience
The desirable skills required for the DWH Developer ( PostgreSQL, Apache Airflow, Python ) include:
• Data Vault
• Insurance experience
• Dundas BI
• Fluent German
