Role: Java Mainframe Engineer
Location : Remote Working – from anywhere in EU
Type of hiring: Freelance Contract
Duration: 6 months (can be extended)
Start Date: as soon as possible
Language requirement: English

Background of the project:
• Migrate mainframe, I-Series to GCP.
• Convert Cobol, PL/1, RPG, JCL/CL in an automated way using Google G4 platform to JAVA
• Convert CICS(Transaction Manager) migration to GCP

Job Specs:
1. 15+ years of Core Java experience
2. Knowledge of CICS conversion to JAVA platform is a plus
3. Past knowledge of Cobol/mainframe/I-Series is a plus
4. Experience of Queue (rabbitmq , Kafka, ActiveMQ) is a plus
5. Experience of Java code generator – Bytebuddy is a plus
6. Experience with GCP is a plus
7. Experience with Microservices, container (Dockers) is a plus
8. Experience with CI/CD (Gitflow) is a plus
