Main tasks:
- Migration of the client platform to a new and more performant Cloud Region
- Analysis of the current cloud setup
- Estimation of the required capacity to support expected traffic growth
- Migration of remaining legacy use cases in the Cloud
- Decommission of the legacy client infrastructure
- Tuning of Cloud setup
Main qualifications
- In-depth experience with ElasticSearch and Cassandra
- In-depth understanding of virtual infrastructure based on OpenStack.
- Experience in provisioning cloud infrastructure with Terraform
- Experience SaltStack configuration management
- Experience with Sensu and Alert Manager based monitoring systems
- Experience with major tools and technologies used in the client platform (Elastic Search, Kubernetes, Mesos, Marathon, Cassandra, MySQL)
