Role: MS Dynamics Consultant
Location – Hamburg or Frankfurt
Contract duration: 6 to 12 months
Type of hiring: Freelance Contract
Language requirement: Fluent English

We need experienced consultant that can advise on:

1. Dynamics 2017 NAV - System configuration and fine tuning.
a. Dynamics cache configuration fine tuning.
b. cleaning up of event log, to only show valid warnings and errors
c. debugging of CPU spikes during document creation using a 3rd party tool on top of Dynamics.
d. setup of event log alerts for important errors.
2. Dynamics DB in MS SQL maintenance setup and fine tuning - Database at 400GB DB size with 300GB transaction log size.
a. Some consultation is needed on:
i. whether to shrink the production database,
ii. implementation of daily MS SQL transaction logs.
iii. whether or not to create indexes and impact of fill factor on the same.
iv. correct slow query log configuration
