For our customer, an international chemical company, we are looking for a project controller within the scope of a project. The position is an integral part of the project's core team and works in alignment with the Project Director, Project Manager, other Core team members and Engineering firms. Besides controlling and supporting activities, the project controller will collaborate with the Project Director to prepare presentations that will go to the Management Board and the Regional Head of Controlling for EMEA.Project controlling:
Tracking and planning of costs
-Actual in SAP H4
-Forecasts: 18 to 24 months
-Annual Budgets
Reporting of spending profile (twice per month):
-Actual amounts
-PO Commitments
-Forecasts (contractors and internal)
-Paid amounts
-Approved Budget
-By Contractor
Coordinating
-Contractors invoicing
-Invoice verification
-Invoice receipt, and approval within SAP
Project risk management controlling (including contribution to risk analysis)
-Risk matrix (including pricing)
-Allowances calculation
-Risk Contingency calculation
-Enterprise risk management
-Risk valuation
Supporting the following topics:
Controlling of resources (FTE and workload analysis)
-Measurement of engagement
-Measurement of utilization
-Analysis of manpower workload
-Manpower planning
Contractor management topics:
-Time sheet coordination

Skills / Profil
-Master in Finance with focus on controlling or Master in Economical Engineering
-Proven experience in a similar role for large capital projects (over Euro 500 million), ideally in the Petrochemical or Power Generation industry
-Internationally experienced
-Experience with SAP S4 HANA (FI/CO)
-Team player
-Excellent organizational and time management skills
-A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities
-Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
-Strong presentation skills
-Business fluent in German and English
